The Parchment and the Spheres
A fictional 100 word story: 50 words each written by myself and Erica Drayton
A 100 word story collaboration brought to you by
and moi!Four pairs of eyes poured over the parchment. A piece missing. No one blinked and everyone held their breath in awe at their discover.
“It’s worthless without the key!” Sir Antony said, annoyed.
Lady Chesterwood rolled her eyes. “You are most exasperating” she said, and held up the missing piece.
The missing piece is placed.
The parchment morphs into a 3D holographic map, three swirling neon-coloured spheres at the epicentre.
A melodic voice coaxes, "Welcome to Scowthered. Choose your adventure. But have a care, for there is no return from one."
Burning with curiosity, Anthony entreats: "Shall we? Which one?"
My own comment to Erica: “It had to be a map, maps (as in map art and map based stories) have taken over my life at the moment.”
Can you work out which bit is Erica’s and which bit is mine?
