A fun treasure hunt in map form
Little clues, quiet joy, a lighthouse glow and an art map
This is a Sunday Pocket Note
What are Sunday Pocket Notes? Spontaneous small drops of light-hearted curiosity. A piece of art, a map, a moodle, an image or a tiny reflection that slips lazily into your day. Sometimes playful, thoughtful, or lightly mischievous. I might invite you to look a little closer at an image, find a hidden detail, or follow a small thread of whimsy and playfulness for a moment. Are you with me?
It has been a while since I shared any of my map art here. I never stopped making it, I just meandered off the path of posting for a bit. But I feel like I want to be back, sharing these quirky little pieces of art with you.

A tiny treasure hunt, just for fun

These tiny quests are part of the playful moodling spirit for me. A way of practising attention without a purpose, or without forcing anything. A way of training my eye to slow down, to linger, to enjoy the small, delightful details.
This is a map inspired by a conversation I had with a friend a while back. A personal art map where I engage with ideas about courage, visibility, and the steady glow of a lighthouse.
The motif of a lighthouse appears often in my writing and art. I think it shows up because it reminds me of something simple.
Being seen is not about shouting. It’s about standing where you are, shining in your own way, and trusting that the right people will notice the light. This little map carries that same message, tucked between Worthy Park, Rocks of Support and the No Need To Hide Meadow.
Over to you …
Have a wander through the map and see what you notice.
What part of the map were you instinctively drawn to?
What small and slightly mischievous details might you notice today that make you smile?
More map art and moodling to come, when the moment takes me!
