January's tiny stories in words: Sixwoodling
The words for Month One: a small bite-sized, focused daily action to write the story of the day in just words
«««Previous 6ws || Next 6ws»»»
Hello, again!
Sunday’s letter gave you the background to this new daily six word story project where I write the story of the day in just six words and included pics of the mini maps with the stories.
This post is a companion to the original and is simply the stories themselves, for easier reading. I’ve sent this letter out as both an email and vis the Substack app, as it’s the first time I’m doing this. In future, as I don’t want to inundate your inbox with more email than necessary, it will only be available from a link in the monthly letter and on my main Substack page.
The stories are separated into weeks, which is how I’ve written them on the mini maps (I’ve included a map below as an example - you can see all of them in the original post). Also, as I was in South Africa for two weeks this month, the stories are sprinkled with colloquial South African lingo as well as some Afrikaans! I’ve put these in bold font.
Here we go, this is how the daily 6 word stories have captured the small moments of my life for the first 5 weeks of 2024. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. If you feel the need to leave a comment using just six words, I’d love that!
